Curator Producer for GENDERS – Helen Kaplinsky

Helen Kaplinsky is a London-based independent curator and writer. Her projects support artistic conversations that rethink organisational and ownership structures in society, often sharing expanded approaches to tools and technologies. In 2015 she co-founded Res., a mutable curatorial organisation and workspace based in South East London. She has undertaken collections-based fellowships with the Contemporary Art Society and the Arts Council Collection and is a forthcoming doctoral student at Liverpool John Moores University, Exhibition Research Lab within the School of Art and Design.

As a catalyst for creative collaborations in art and science, we draw on the expertise of a group of people who approach the season topic from their individual artistic or scientific perspectives. Advisors help Science Gallery London to shape the content and direction of the season so that it becomes something that has credence in their respective worlds.
