Addiction, ‘the family disease’, can lead to and result in divorce. Natasha used government data to identify coastline towns as UK places with the highest divorce rates. She discovered alcoholism and gambling were amongst the contributing factors. In the film Natasha and her husband perform a ‘data dance’ where each choreographed gesture embodies and ‘interprets’ a multitude of unhelpful pressures on a relationship.
